Jimena Quezada

Position: Technical Assistance Provider (TAP) Trainee and NRCS Support

Jimena Quezada is an important member of Tranquillity RCD's Team of oustanding conservation champions to further assist our farming and ranching communities.  In her role, she has been focused on working on the Transformative Climate Communities (TCC) Planning Initiatve.  The initiative has been generously funded by the California Strategic Growth Council (SGC) and in partnership with the California Department of Conservation (DOC) to develop a viable plan of action that promotes the Agricultural Economy and Workforce of the Future.

Jimena has  Bachelor of Science in Plant Science from CSU Fresno and has gone through initial training with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) under their internship program.  Her involvement at CSUF and community service covers a wide array of activities, including representing CSUF and others in national programs focused on agricutlure and natural resources.

Jimena while being mentored by Jeevan Singh, is now going through CSU Chico's TAP Certification program at the Center for Regenerative Agriculture and Resilient Systems (CRARS) under a full scholarship which should be completed 2026.
