Jeevan Singh

Jeevan Singh is the District's Senior Technical Assistance Provider (TAP) and Service Manager for Carbon Farm Planning (CFP), while providing the GIS and Data Analytical Support. He earned his TAP Certification from CSU Chico's Center for Regenerative Agriculture and Resilient Systems (CRARS). Jeevan has been introduced and trained in three CFP methologies and on his own done a CFP for the organic almond farm owned by his family. Additionally, he is working on a pollenator project on the farm as well.
He is a proficient ESRI user and is involved in statistical analysis and data mining, extracting information associated with the conditions of the natural resources, socioeconomic, and other data important to supporting the viability and longterm sustainability of agriculture within the district.
Previously, His background included 16 years being resposible for the succesful day-to-day management of his family's farming operations in organic almonds. He is well acquainted with the NRCS and the Environmental Quality Incentives Program for ranchers and farmers known as EQIP and other beneficial programs for landowners and producers.
He is also a key individual engaged with the McMullin Area Groundwater Sustainability Agency (MAGSA) and has done extensive work with the California Association of Resource Conservation Districts (CARCD).
