First Transformative Climate Communities (TCC) Meeting conducted for Raisin City and Perry Colony at the Caruthers Public Library on Tuesday, March 18th.

The TCC Planning Team is pleased to announce that the first Community Outreach and Engagement meeting was conducted on Tuesday, March 18 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the Caruthers Public Library located at 13382 S Henderson Rd, Caruthers, CA 93609.

The session was focused on providing the communities of Raisin City and Perry Colony the opportunity to share their interests, concerns and recommendations that will contribute to the development of an implementable plan of action.   The development of the plan of action is expected to be a road-map that improves the community's resiliency in the face of climate change and other factors impacting their socio-economic and environmental wellbeing.   

The TCC Planning Initiative is focused on the development of the agricultural economy and workforce of the future that is sustainable and drives towards regional self-sufficiency.
