The California Association of Resource Conservation Districts (CARCD) is organized in regions throughout the state.  This is the current interactive map making up the regions and their respective RCDs as currently defined.  The San Joaquin Valley Region (formerly known as Area 9) covers all RCDs in six counties from Merced to Kern County.  The NRCS and CA Department of Conservation (DOC) are their traditional sponsors.
